A convenient service that lets you return your bicycle at one of our partner facilities with advance application. Ride straight to your preferred facility and return the bike there. (Additional fee required / Reservations are request-based.)

How to Reserve
Let us walk you through the 3-step reservation process, from application to confirmation.
Reservation Request
Select your preferred other-location return facility and complete the required fields on the reservation form to submit your application. At this stage, your reservation is not yet confirmed.
Road bikes (advanced grade), Tandem bike, Child Trailer cannot be used for another-location return. Please note.
Availability Check
Biwaichi Bike staff will check availability with the return facility. Depending on that day's traffic or facility circumstances, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
Reservation Confirmed
Once availability is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation email. Your reservation is officially confirmed at the moment you receive the email.
How to Return
Let us walk you through the 3 simple steps of returning your bicycle.
Arrive at the Return Location
Ride to the return facility you selected at the time of booking, and arrive within the return deadline.
Scan the QR Code
Use your smartphone to scan the QR code posted at the facility, and open the return form.
Return Complete
Fill out the return form displayed and submit it, then hand over the bicycle and its equipment to the facility staff — your return is complete.

※1 Distance measured when riding counter-clockwise from Biwaichi Bike. Actual distance may vary depending on the route.
※2 Reservation Deadline: The deadline is based on days counted backward from the day before your departure date.
Example: "2 day(s) before departure by 17:00" → If your departure date is September 10, please complete your reservation by 17:00 on September 8.
※3 Return Deadline: The cut-off time on your return date.
Example: "17:00" → Please arrive at the location and return the bike by 17:00 on your return date.
Please Note
About Reservations
- Please submit your application by 16:00 on the day before your rental date. (The other-location return service cannot be requested once the rental has begun.) Reservations are request-based; after your application, Biwaichi Bike staff will contact you to confirm the reservation.
About Return
- Please strictly observe the return time and return the bicycle to the return location selected at the time of booking. Returning the bicycle to any facility not selected at the time of booking is strictly prohibited. Returns after the deadline cannot be accepted.
About the Bicycle
- Responsibility for Bicycle Damage After rental, any bicycle malfunction or damage that occurs is treated as the customer's personal responsibility.
- Other-location Returns and Post-return Charges Because on-site bicycle condition checks are not available at other-location return facilities, if any damage or malfunction is detected during later inspection, we may bill you for the repair costs at a later date.
- Characteristics and Handling of Sports Bicycles Sports bicycles (such as hybrid bikes and road bikes) differ from ordinary city bicycles (mamachari): to prioritize riding performance, their frames are designed to be lightweight and delicate. Please handle them with care throughout the rental period.
